Mark Hoppus Filing McLawsuit After McDonald's Business Venture Fails to Produce Results Mark Hoppus has filed a two million dollar lawsuit against a father-and-son business team who was supposed to embark on a business venutre with himself and the rest of Blink-182, but ended up neglecting to go forth with the deal while keeping the invested money for themselves.
According to E!, Hoppus, Tom Delonge and Travis Barker gave Ed and Jeff Mitchell (Missicom LLC) a seven-figure sum to help push the creation of automated checkout machines installed at McDonald's restaurants. Hoppus and his wife Skye gave the family team $600,000 of their own money to fund the project and apparently so did other celebrities (The Mitchells raised around $3.4 million dollars overall).
There's an even more juicy part to this story (which dates back to 2003) ... Apparently, Hoppus sued his former business manager, Louis Tommasino, back in 2006, after discovering that Tommasino hadn't told him that he was a principal member in Missicom (meaning that he most likely knew that Hoppus was getting screwed out of his money).Do you think Hoppus will win the lawsuit against Missicom LLC?....
