je ne crois pas qu'il y ait déjà cet article sur le forum, alors voila la vie de Mark :

Mark was born Markus Allen Hoppus in California on March 15, 1972. His fathers work with the US Navy took the family all over the US. His parents got divorced when he was 14 and Mark went to live with his dad in Washington DC. After 2 years, at 16, he moved back to California, in a place called Ridgecrest.

One summer Mark helped his dad paint a house and Mark was given his first bass guitar as a reward. Starting off on simple bass lines from band like The Descendents, Mark got very used to playing these and got better himself at playing everyday.

Mark started a band with a few friends in Ridgecrest called 'Of All Things'. Because of there situation and area, there were no oppertunities for the band so he moved to San Diego. Here he worked in a small music shop and went to college. Because of college, work and his social life, Mark lost contact with the band in Ridgecrest and Of All Things was no more.

Nearly straight away after his band had split up Mark missed the music and after spending hours upon hours of moaning about it to his sister (Anne Hoppus) his sister told a friend she knew in high school that her brother played bass. The person was Tom Delonge and in no time at all the two guys where playing music in Toms garage, not before one their first meeting Mark jumping off a lamp post and trashing both of his heels... hehe.

Mark still lives in California now and is happily married to his long term girlfriend Skye (Everly), and they have a son, Jack. Mark is also part owner with Tom in the clothing companies Atticus and Macbeth, Macbeth having a line of Footwear for its main source of sale.
